Kean Miller Continues to Grow Across Louisiana and Texas, Adding Legal Talent in Houston, Shreveport, and Lafayette

Kean Miller’s rapid growth continues as the 197-attorney, full-service law firm announces the addition of four attorneys in three of its offices in Louisiana and Texas. These additions expand the Firm’s ability to provide clients with the best and brightest attorneys, meaningful counsel, and superior client service. Since April 2022, Kean Miller has added 22 attorneys in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Shreveport, Houston, and The Woodlands.

HOUSTON

Colin C. Norman joins the firm in Houston practicing with the probate, trust, and guardianship litigation and administration group. He holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses and is listed in Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2023. Colin earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2014 and his B.A. in Philosophy and Minor in Italian from University of Michigan in 2010.

SHREVEPORT

Blair E. Boyd joins the firm in Shreveport practicing with the litigation group. She represents clients in the areas of labor and employment, construction, and commercial litigation. Blair earned her J.D. from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2020 and her B.S. in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2016.

LAFAYETTE

Emily Breaux Wright joins the firm in Lafayette practicing with the business, corporate and real estate groups. While in law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Phyllis M. Keaty of the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal. Emily earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2016 and her B.G.S. in Communications and Public Relations from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2010.

Christopher J. Peyton joins the firm in Lafayette practicing with the business, corporate and real estate groups. Prior to law school, he was a petroleum landman, which has given him a valuable understanding of the needs and concerns of the energy industry. Chris earned his J.D./D.C.L. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2016 and his B.B.A., cum laude, in Economics from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012.
