Litigation Partnership Track Associate – Shreveport

Kean Miller is seeking an Experienced Litigation Partnership Track Associate in our Shreveport office for our Labor, Insurance, Construction, IP and Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Qualified candidates will possess minimum two (2) years general litigation experience. Litigation experience should include taking depositions, writing motions, and responding to discovery. Our associates work hand in hand with partners on all phases of litigation, from rapid response investigations, case reporting, discovery and depositions, through trial preparation.

Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills. Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with Kean Miller’s clients and to further develop client and referral relationships. 

The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment and the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates should be able to independently manage a caseload from beginning to end, regularly handle court appearances and depositions, take the lead with client communication, and provide meaningful updates. A current state bar license is required, but attorneys licensed outside Louisiana who desire to move back to the state and practice in Shreveport are invited to apply.
